Acceptance and Recognition

By entering into the International Institute of Marketing Professionals Membership Program, you agree that you have read and understand this “Membership Terms & Conditions” and your membership with IIMP® will adhere to the following terms and conditions.

IIMP® is owned and operated by the International Institute of Marketing Professional whom are registered as an organization under the Canadian Business Corporation Act. IIMP® members may take advantage of specific benefits including; being recognized as “Member International Institute of Marketing Professionals, qualification for discounted rates on events and educational programs, subscription to IIMP® Newsletter, have exclusive access to online membership directory, access to the international marketing network, accessibility to progressive marketing and professional resources, access to information of upcoming Chapter events, opportunities for personal development through educational programs and volunteering, and group insurance benefits.

IIMP® reserves the right to send Members messages from time to time for which they will not be rewarded. Such messages may include IIMP® information updates; flash bulletins; invitations; administrative announcements; special requests and so on – and may be sent via email or regular mail. IIMP® reserves the right to limit IIMP® enrolment at any time.

Terms & Conditions of IIMP® Membership :

Only individuals 16 years or older may be approved to become an IIMP® Member. Corporation and Government employees may also be eligible to become IIMP® Members. IIMP® membership and its right to use is limited to one individual per IIMP® account. All IIMP® Members agree to provide only true and accurate information to the International Institute of Marketing Professionals head office at all times. Members must agree to comply with the terms of all IIMP® advertiser and partner offers, promotions, and programs at all times. Members must also agree not to abuse IIMP® privileges by conduct which is detrimental to the interests of IIMP® such as having multiple accounts or attempting to take advantage of membership discounts more than once, participating in purchasing or redemption fraud, sending unsolicited email (“SPAM”) through IIMP® or tampering with IIMP® links, etc.

IIMP® reserves the right to terminate or disable, at sole discretion, any IIMP® membership if IIMP® believes such a Member has violated or acted inconsistently with the rules of IIMP™ or intent of these terms & conditions. Members must understand and agree that the disabling of membership will result in Member’s inability to claim any refunds. Members must understand and agree that the termination of membership will result in the cancellation of all IIMP® benefits. IIMP® will be the sole determiner in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or violation of its rules and any decision it makes relating to termination of membership. Any decision will be considered final and binding.

Members must comply with all laws, rules, and regulations that are applicable to the IIMP® Membership Program. Membership fee is non-transferable and non-refundable. Members must understand that Members may only participate in IIMP® if and to the extent that such participation is permitted by such laws, rules, and regulations.
