Global Alliances Team – Organizational Chart

The International Institute of Marketing Professionals (IIMP®) is forming a world-wide Global Alliances team in order to establish Internationally Accepted Marketing Standards and IIMP®’s marketing designations around the world. 

The global team will provide technical and advisory support to all relevant committees including: membership development, global alliances, brand management, education management and academic accreditation in the areas of research, planning and program implementation. In addition, the team will be responsible for monitoring IIMP®’s policies, procedures and practices. 

The global team is led by the Senior Vice President of Global Alliances; the framework consists of core team that includes 5 vice presidents, each resonsible for a different global zone and global team that includes 19 regional directors who are responsible for supervising and monitoring 51 associate regional directors and they are responsible for directly supervising 223 country managers within their regions. All continents have been divided into the following seventeen manageable regions.

Regional Director Role Profile

Roles/Mandate 

To provide technical and advisory support to the all relevant committees including; membership development, chapter development, brand management, education management and academic accreditation in the areas of research, planning and program implementation. The director is also responsible for the monitoring the IIMP’s policies, procedures and practices in his or her assigned region. 

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all country development managers within the assigned region.
• Generate reports required by other committees for implementing their activities.
• Support activities for membership development and retention. Support the establishment and maintenance of chapters in collaboration with chapter development team.
• Work with the brand management team in creating awareness establishing IIMP® brands in the region.
• Provide assistance in setting up educational activities. 
• Provide support in indentifying institutions for partnerships and accreditations. 

Skills/Experience Required 

• Experience working with chapters or local representatives of associations, clubs and similar volunteer groups in fund-raising, leading or supporting general meetings, social events and other on-site and face-to-face volunteer activities
• Proven networking capabilities and strong communication, social, persuasion, negotiation and direct leadership skills
• Organizational skills related to the running and management of volunteer bodies, including governance and leadership (understanding of roles of president, vice-presidents, committee members, secretary and treasurer), rules and regulations (including Bylaws and Code of Conduct development and interpretation), disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution
• Knowledge of membership attraction and retention such as social and education events, supporting speaking engagements and association meetings
• Demonstrable ability to communicate at all levels – from operations and administration staff to Board and Executive level 

Education/Training Required

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred master’s degree) in business administration / management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight or more (5+) years of direct involvement with non-profit organizations 
• Four or more (3+) years of non-profit leadership experience.

Country Manager Role Profile
