International Marketing Organization Appoints Global Alliances Leaders

Toronto, Canada — 16 July 2012 – IIMP® Appoints Global Alliances Leaders

The International Institutional of Marketing Professionals (IIMP®) has announced the appointment of Ms. Angela Martins as Senior Vice President for Global Alliances. Joining the team with her are four Regional Vice-Presidents who along with Ms. Martins will oversee the development of IIMP’s Global Alliances activities around the world.

In a statement issued in Toronto, Canada, Ms. Martins, Senior Vice President confirmed that the newly appointed Vice-Presidents would provide leadership and strategic direction in their respective regions. She confirmed that the newly appointed Vice-Presidents are: Mr. Ron Caughlin (Europe, Middle East and Oceania), Mr. Henry Aladiume (Africa), Mrs. Palma Petrilli (North America), and Dr. Hasan Hasanuzzoha (Asia).

Ms. Martins remarked that this impressive group of Marketing professionals on her team would serve as catalysts; ably enhancing the organization’s efforts at promoting Marketing excellence globally. She further added that her four Vice-Presidents would over the next few weeks start to engage with the teams within their respective regions.

She explained that through the collaboration of the four Vice-Presidents, seventeen Regional Directors and fourty country managers already on board IIMP® is poised to quickly provide an opportunity for Marketing professionals globally to participate in the work of IIMP® already underway as well as through its Chapters and Institutes, both of which will be set up within the respective countries.

In addition, Ms. Martins expressed her delight about the progress being made towards launching the IIMP’s global Marketing designation through the Global Alliances network in early 2013.

IIMP® is fully a volunteer organization, which sits singularly on a virtual platform. Whilst the number of platforms may change, this virtual arrangement from the outset was to ensure that at every stage of its development IIMP® was available and attractive to a global audience.

Alongside this virtual platform IIMP® is now preparing its third edition of the International Journal of Marketing Principles and Practices – IJMPP, a high quality scholarly publication of leading and innovative information in many aspects .The third edition of the Journal is due to be published in October 2012.

The Global Alliances Committee is currently looking for volunteers to join as regional directors, associate regional directors and country managers in a number of countries around the world.
